Terms of Service

Welcome to Patriot Mail. By accessing or using our website (https://patriotmail.ai/) or any Patriot Mail applications (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. About Patriot Mail

Patriot Mail is an email client. We do not provide email accounts or email hosting services. Instead, the Service connects to your existing email accounts (such as Yahoo, Google, AOL, iCloud, Outlook, Microsoft 365, or other providers that support IMAP, SMTP, or single sign-on). You may connect multiple accounts within the app.

Patriot Mail is a "thin client": your emails remain with your email provider. We do not permanently store your inbox on our servers. Our role is to securely fetch, display, and send messages on your behalf, subject to your email provider's terms and policies.

2. Acceptable Use

• You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and not to send spam, commit fraud, transmit malicious software, or engage in any illegal or abusive activity.
• You must comply with the terms, policies, and acceptable use rules of your email providers (for example, Google, Microsoft, Yahoo) when using Patriot Mail.
• You may not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except to the extent such restrictions are prohibited by law.
• You may not sell, resell, or misuse the Service in a way that interferes with our infrastructure, other users, or our third-party providers.
• You must not use the Service to store or share unlawful content, or to violate the rights of others (including privacy and intellectual property rights).

3. Third-Party Services and Providers

The Service relies on third-party services and infrastructure, including but not limited to:

• email providers (such as Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, iCloud),
• infrastructure and hosting providers, and
• optional AI providers used to power features such as summaries and reply suggestions.

Your use of third-party services (including your email accounts and app stores) is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control and are not responsible for those third-party services.

4. AI Features

Patriot Mail may offer optional AI-powered features (for example, email summaries, reply suggestions, explanations, or assistance via ai@patriotmail.ai). These features may rely on third-party AI providers.

• AI features are optional and may be turned off. When you use them, you understand that the content you submit for AI processing may be sent to a third-party AI service solely to provide the feature.
• AI output may be incorrect, incomplete, or outdated. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before using it, especially for important, financial, legal, medical, or safety- related decisions.
• AI features are provided for convenience and productivity only and do not constitute professional advice.

5. Service Availability and Changes

Patriot Mail relies on third-party email providers and infrastructure. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or behavior of those external services.

While we work to keep the Service running smoothly, we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time, including features, interfaces, or supported platforms.

6. Free Service and Future Features

Patriot Mail is currently free to use. In the future, we may introduce optional paid features, subscriptions, or affiliate- supported services. If that happens, purchases made through app stores (such as Apple’s App Store) will be subject to those stores’ own terms, including their rules for billing, cancellations, and refunds. We do not control app store billing.

7. Termination and Abuse

We reserve the right to suspend, limit, or terminate access to the Service, or specific features (such as proxy or backend functions), at our discretion if we detect misuse, abuse, security risks, or violations of these Terms.

Because much of Patriot Mail runs locally on your device, we may not always be able to technically disable all client functionality. In some cases, termination may consist of revoking access to certain backend services or APIs.

8. Disclaimers

• The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
• We do not guarantee that the Service will be free from errors, vulnerabilities, interruptions, or data loss. You are responsible for keeping backups or copies of important emails with your email provider.
• We are not responsible for emails lost, delayed, or misdelivered by your email provider, network issues, or other third-party services.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Patriot Mail, its owners, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

To the extent we are found to have any liability, our total aggregate liability for all claims related to the Service will be limited to the amount you have paid us for the Service in the previous twelve months (which, for free users, is zero).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, these limitations will apply only to the extent permitted by law.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts of Poland, unless applicable law requires a different forum.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Effective Date" above. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice (for example, in the app or by email).

Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms become effective will mean you accept those changes.
