Connect Gazeta.pl Email with IMAP

Gazeta.pl works with Patriot Mail and any IMAP email app. The one extra step: IMAP access is off by default and has to be switched on in Gazeta.pl web mail settings first.

Step one

Turn on IMAP access

Enable IMAP in Gazeta.pl settings. Until you do, every email app is refused.

Server settings

imap.gazeta.pl

Incoming imap.gazeta.pl on port 993 (SSL). Outgoing smtp.gazeta.pl on port 465 (SSL).

Sign in

Your full address

Use your full email address as the username and your normal Gazeta.pl password.

Step 1 - Required

Turn on IMAP in Gazeta.pl

Open Gazeta.pl web mail in a browser

Sign in to Gazeta.pl web mail on a computer or phone browser. You cannot change this setting from an email app.

Open the settings

Open the mail settings and find the IMAP/POP section.

Turn on IMAP access

Enable IMAP access and save, then continue in your app.

Step by step

Add Gazeta.pl to Patriot Mail

Open Add Account

Go to Settings, then Accounts, then Add New Account.

Enter your Gazeta.pl address

Type your full email address. Patriot Mail fills in the Gazeta.pl server settings for you.

Enter your password

Use your normal Gazeta.pl password, then continue. Your inbox starts loading.

Other apps

Add Gazeta.pl to Apple Mail on iPhone or Mac

Add a new account

On iPhone open Settings, then Mail, then Accounts, then Add Account. On Mac open Mail, then Settings, then Accounts. Choose Other Mail Account.

Enter your details

Enter your name, your full Gazeta.pl address, and your password. If Apple Mail cannot verify it automatically, enter the servers by hand.

Enter the Gazeta.pl servers

Incoming (IMAP): imap.gazeta.pl. Outgoing (SMTP): smtp.gazeta.pl. Username is your full email address.

Gazeta.pl server settings

  • Incoming (IMAP): imap.gazeta.pl, port 993, SSL
  • Outgoing (SMTP): smtp.gazeta.pl, port 465, SSL
  • Username: your full Gazeta.pl email address
  • Password: your normal Gazeta.pl password (after enabling IMAP)

If it will not connect

  • Confirm IMAP access is switched on in Gazeta.pl settings.
  • Check the address is typed correctly with no spaces.
  • Confirm the servers are imap.gazeta.pl and smtp.gazeta.pl.
