Connect Interia Email with IMAP
Interia (interia.pl, poczta.fm, int.pl) works with Patriot Mail and any IMAP email app. There is one extra step most people miss: IMAP is off until you turn on email-program access in Interia web mail, and the server is poczta.interia.pl.
Step 1 - Required
Turn on IMAP in Interia web mail

Open Interia web mail in a browser
Sign in at poczta.interia.pl on a computer or phone browser. You cannot change this setting from an email app.

Open settings, then parameters
Open the settings and go to the parameters section.

Enable Uzywam programu pocztowego
Turn on the "Uzywam programu pocztowego" option, which enables POP3/IMAP access. Now continue in your email app.
Step 2 - Only with two-step login
Create an app password
If you have two-step login on for your Interia account, your normal password will not work in an email app. Create a separate app password. If you do not use two-step login, skip this step and use your normal password.

Open account security
In Interia web mail, open your account settings and find the security section.

Create a mail app password
Create a password for mail apps and give it a name.

Copy it into your email app
Paste the generated password into the password field.
Step by step
Add Interia to Patriot Mail

Open Add Account
Go to Settings, then Accounts, then Add New Account.

Enter your Interia address
Type your full email address. Patriot Mail fills in the poczta.interia.pl server settings for you.

Enter your password
Use your normal password, or the app password if two-step login is on, then continue.
Other apps
Add Interia to Apple Mail on iPhone or Mac

Add a new account
On iPhone open Settings, then Mail, then Accounts, then Add Account. On Mac open Mail, then Settings, then Accounts. Choose Other Mail Account.

Enter your details
Enter your name, your full Interia address, and your password (or app password). Enter the servers by hand if needed.

Enter the Interia server
Incoming (IMAP) and outgoing (SMTP) are both poczta.interia.pl. Username is your full email address.
Interia server settings
- Incoming (IMAP): poczta.interia.pl, port 993, SSL
- Outgoing (SMTP): poczta.interia.pl, port 465, SSL
- Username: your full Interia email address
- Password: your normal password, or an app password if two-step login is on
If it will not connect
- Confirm email-program access is enabled in Interia settings.
- If you use two-step login, use an app password, not your normal password.
- Check the address is typed correctly with no spaces.
