Connect La Poste Email with IMAP
La Poste (laposte.net) works with Patriot Mail and any IMAP email app using your normal mailbox password. La Poste accepts only secure connections, which Patriot Mail always uses.
Step by step
Add La Poste to Patriot Mail

Open Add Account
Go to Settings, then Accounts, then Add New Account.

Enter your address
Type your full laposte.net address. Patriot Mail fills in the La Poste server settings for you.

Enter your password
Use your normal mailbox password, then continue.
Other apps
Add La Poste to Apple Mail on iPhone or Mac

Add a new account
On iPhone open Settings, then Mail, then Accounts, then Add Account. On Mac open Mail, then Settings, then Accounts. Choose Other Mail Account.

Enter your details
Enter your name, your full laposte.net address, and your password. Enter the servers by hand if Apple Mail cannot verify them automatically.

Enter the La Poste servers
Incoming (IMAP): imap.laposte.net. Outgoing (SMTP): smtp.laposte.net. Username is your full email address.
La Poste server settings
- Incoming (IMAP): imap.laposte.net, port 993, SSL
- Outgoing (SMTP): smtp.laposte.net, port 465, SSL
- Username: your full laposte.net address
- Password: your normal mailbox password
If it will not connect
- Check the address is typed correctly with no spaces.
- Confirm the servers are imap.laposte.net and smtp.laposte.net.
- Make sure the connection is set to SSL, not plain text.
