Just use your password
Without two-step verification, your normal Onet password works in an email app straight away.

Connect Onet Email with IMAP
Onet Poczta (onet.pl, op.pl, and other Onet domains) works with Patriot Mail and any IMAP email app using your normal password. The one catch: if you turn on two-step verification, Onet blocks the normal password for email apps and you need an app password instead.

Open Onet account security
Sign in at poczta.onet.pl, open account settings, and go to the security section.

Create an app password
If two-step verification is on, create a password for mail apps and give it a name you will recognize.

Use it in the email app
Paste the app password into the password field instead of your normal password.
Step by step
Add Onet to Patriot Mail

Open Add Account
Go to Settings, then Accounts, then Add New Account.

Enter your Onet address
Type your full email address. Patriot Mail fills in the Onet server settings for you.

Enter your password
Use your normal password, or the app password if two-step verification is on, then continue. Your inbox starts loading.
Other apps
Add Onet to Apple Mail on iPhone or Mac

Add a new account
On iPhone open Settings, then Mail, then Accounts, then Add Account. On Mac open Mail, then Settings, then Accounts. Choose Other Mail Account.

Enter your details
Enter your name, your full Onet address, and your password (or app password). If Apple Mail cannot verify it automatically, enter the servers by hand.

Enter the Onet servers
Incoming (IMAP): imap.poczta.onet.pl. Outgoing (SMTP): smtp.poczta.onet.pl. Username is your full email address.
Onet server settings
- Incoming (IMAP): imap.poczta.onet.pl, port 993, SSL
- Outgoing (SMTP): smtp.poczta.onet.pl, port 465, SSL
- Username: your full Onet email address
- Password: your normal password, or an app password if two-step verification is on
If it will not connect
- If you have two-step verification on, use an app password, not your normal password.
- Check the address is typed correctly with no spaces.
- Confirm the servers are imap.poczta.onet.pl and smtp.poczta.onet.pl over SSL.
