Seznam Email IMAP Settings and Setup

Seznam Email works with Patriot Mail and any other email app using your normal password. Enter your full address, and the server names are filled in for you.

Addresses at seznam.cz, email.cz, post.cz and spoluzaci.cz are all the same service. Whichever one you have, the servers below are the right ones.

If your password is refused, it is usually not the password. Open Seznam Email in a browser and check that access for email programs is turned on before trying again.

How to connect Seznam Email

Enter your address

Open Patriot Mail, choose Add account, and type your full Seznam address.

Enter your password

Use the same password you use on the Seznam website. The server names are filled in for you.

If it does not connect

If it is refused, sign in to Seznam Email in a browser and check that access for email programs is switched on, then try again.

Seznam Email and Patriot Mail

What are the IMAP settings for Seznam Email?

imap.seznam.cz on port 993 with SSL for incoming mail, and smtp.seznam.cz on port 465 with SSL for outgoing mail. Your username is your full address, including the part after the at sign.

Do email.cz and post.cz work the same way?

Yes. An email.cz, post.cz or spoluzaci.cz address is the same Seznam mailbox and uses the same servers and the same password.

Do I need a special password for Seznam Email?

Seznam accepts your normal password in an email app, so there is nothing extra to create. If sign-in is refused, open Seznam Email in a browser and check that access for email programs is switched on in the settings.

Will connecting Seznam to Patriot Mail change my address?

No. Patriot Mail connects to the Seznam mailbox you already have. Your address stays the same and your mail stays with Seznam.

Can I read Seznam Email with my other accounts?

Yes. A Seznam address can sit next to Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and any other mailbox in one inbox, and each reply goes out from the account it belongs to.
