Your mail password may be different from the one you use for My KPN. If the account is refused, set or check the mail password in your KPN account first.

How to connect KPN Mail

Enter your address
Open Patriot Mail, choose Add account, and type your full KPN address.

Enter your password
Enter your mail password. The server names are filled in for you.

If it does not connect
If it is refused, check the mail password in your KPN account and try once more with that one.

What are the IMAP settings for KPN Mail?
imap.kpnmail.nl on port 993 with SSL for incoming mail, and smtp.kpnmail.nl on port 587 for outgoing mail. Your username is your full email address.
Do planet.nl and home.nl addresses work the same way?
Yes. Addresses at planet.nl, home.nl, hetnet.nl and kpnplanet.nl are KPN mailboxes and use the same servers as kpnmail.nl.
Do I need to turn anything on first?
There is nothing to switch on and no separate app password to create. KPN accepts your mail password in an email app.
Will connecting KPN to Patriot Mail change my address?
No. Patriot Mail connects to the KPN mailbox you already have, so your address stays the same and your mail stays with KPN.
