Two passwords, and you need the email one
My Ziggo has one password and your mailbox has another. An email app needs the email one, which you set in My Ziggo under your internet and email settings. If you have never set it, set it there first.

Addresses at casema.nl, chello.nl and upcmail.nl came from services Ziggo took over. They are Ziggo mailboxes now and use the Ziggo servers below.

How to connect Ziggo Mail

Find your email password
Sign in to My Ziggo and open your internet and email settings. Check your email password there, or set a new one if you are not sure what it is.

Add the account to Patriot Mail
Open Patriot Mail, choose Add account, and type your full address with that email password. The server names are filled in for you.

If it does not connect
If it is refused, set a new email password in My Ziggo and use that. A My Ziggo password typed into an email app is the usual cause.

What are the IMAP settings for Ziggo Mail?
imap.ziggo.nl on port 993 with SSL for incoming mail, and smtp.ziggo.nl on port 587 for outgoing mail. Your username is your full email address.
Which password does an email app need?
Your Ziggo email password is a separate password from the one you use to sign in to My Ziggo. You set it, and can change it, in My Ziggo under your internet and email settings. An email app needs the email password.
Do casema.nl and chello.nl addresses still work?
Yes. Older addresses at casema.nl, chello.nl and upcmail.nl are Ziggo mailboxes and use the same servers and the same email password.
Will connecting Ziggo to Patriot Mail change my address?
No. Patriot Mail connects to the Ziggo mailbox you already have, so your address does not change and your mail stays with Ziggo.
