Help
Mediacom email works with Patriot Mail using your normal password. The one thing to get right is the incoming server name: it starts with mail, not imap.
Server settings
Patriot Mail fills these in for you. They are here for any other app that asks, and so you can check what you were given.

Worth knowing
mail.mediacombb.net, not imap.mediacombb.net. Apps that guess the shorter name report that the server cannot be found, which reads like an outage and is not one.
Worth knowing
Mediacom publishes no automatic settings, so an email app has nothing to look up and leaves the server boxes empty. Patriot Mail fills them in for you.
Worth knowing
Mediacom kept the older mchsi.com addresses working on the same servers. If yours ends in mchsi.com, everything on this page applies to you too.
Step by step
Choose Add account and type your full mediacombb.net or mchsi.com address.
Use your Mediacom email password. There is nothing to switch on first and no separate password to create.
Check the incoming server reads mail.mediacombb.net on port 993, and the outgoing server smtp.mediacombb.net on port 587.

The incoming server is mail.mediacombb.net, not imap.mediacombb.net. The shorter name most apps guess does not exist, so an app that guesses it reports that the server cannot be found.

No. Patriot Mail connects to the mailbox you already have, so your address stays the same and your mail stays with Mediacom.
