Windstream sells its internet as Kinetic, and help pages use both names. Your windstream.net address is unchanged either way.

Ask for the encrypted connection
Ports 993 and 465 with SSL. Older instructions still name the unencrypted ports, and there is no reason to use them.

How to connect Windstream email

Enter your address
Choose Add account and type your full windstream.net address.

Use your Windstream email password. There is nothing to switch on first.

If it does not connect
Confirm the servers read imap.windstream.net and smtp.windstream.net, and that both are set to SSL.
