Sky email works with Patriot Mail and any other email app. Try your full sky.com address and your normal Sky password first. If Sky refuses it, use an app password made on the Sky website, and if you made one before, it still works.

Sky used to ask every email app for a separate app password. Many accounts now take the normal Sky password, so try that first. An app password you made before keeps working.

Sky mail runs on Yahoo's systems but keeps its own server names. If an app offers a Yahoo option, choose the manual or other option and enter the Sky servers below.

How to connect Sky

Add the account with your Sky password
Open Patriot Mail, choose Add account, and enter your full sky.com address and your normal Sky password. The server names are filled in for you.

If Sky refuses it, make an app password
Sign in at sky.com and open sky.com/sky-yahoo-mail/manage-apps. Create an app password for mail, copy it, and use it in place of your Sky password.

If the app password page does not work
Sky has switched its app password page off at times. If it only shows an error, contact Sky's help team, and read your mail on the Sky website until it is sorted.

What are the IMAP settings for Sky email?
imap.tools.sky.com on port 993 with SSL for incoming mail, and smtp.tools.sky.com on port 465 with SSL for outgoing mail. Your username is your full sky.com address.
Why does Sky keep refusing my password?
Sky has changed how email apps sign in. Many accounts now work with the normal Sky password, but some are still asked for a separate app password. If Sky refuses your normal password, an app password made on the Sky website is the fix.
Where do I create a Sky app password?
Sign in at sky.com and open the Sky Yahoo Mail page for managing apps, at sky.com/sky-yahoo-mail/manage-apps. Create one for mail, copy it, and paste it into the password field here. Sky has switched this page off at times. If it only shows an error, Sky's help team can tell you what to use instead.
Is Sky email the same as Yahoo Mail?
Sky Mail is run on Yahoo's systems, so Sky help pages and Yahoo help pages both cover it. Use the Sky servers on this page, and if you need an app password, make it on the Sky website rather than Yahoo's.
Will connecting Sky to Patriot Mail change my address?
No. Patriot Mail connects to the Sky mailbox you already have, so your address does not change and your mail stays with Sky.
