Help
TalkTalk Mail works with Patriot Mail and any other email app using your mail password. Note the incoming server name starts with mail, not imap.
Server settings
Patriot Mail fills these in for you. They are here for any other app that asks, and so you can check what you were given.

Worth knowing
TalkTalk's incoming server is mail.talktalk.net. An app that guesses imap.talktalk.net will not connect, so enter it by hand if you are setting up somewhere else.
Worth knowing
Ask for SSL on the incoming connection and port 993. The older unencrypted port still appears in old instructions, and there is no reason to use it.
Step by step
Open Patriot Mail, choose Add account, and type your full TalkTalk address.
Enter the password you use to read your TalkTalk mail. The server names are filled in for you.
If it is refused, sign in to your mail on the TalkTalk website to confirm the password, then try once more.
Common questions

Your TalkTalk Mail password is the one you use to read your mail on the TalkTalk website, which may not be the same as your My TalkTalk account password. An email app needs the mail one.
Yes, as long as the mailbox is still open. A TalkTalk address kept after leaving TalkTalk works in an email app with the same settings.
No. Patriot Mail connects to the TalkTalk mailbox you already have, so your address stays the same and your mail stays with TalkTalk.
Patriot Mail connects the mailbox you already have. Your address does not change, your mail stays with TalkTalk Mail, and it is free to use.
