What is different about Telenet Mail

Worth knowing

Your Telenet password is the one to use

The password you use for Telenet webmail works in an email app. There is no separate mail password and no app password to create.

Worth knowing

Outgoing mail uses port 587

Ask for 587 with an encrypted connection. The unencrypted ports in older instructions are not worth using.
